Am I seeing the light, or was I hit on the head?

Cynicism and sarcasm are hard to hold onto when you're facing a bright future. Sure, trusting in that future is the key to this and may not be justified if no proof is evident. When I am faced with a positive change, however, I don't doubt in its ability to provide a happy ending. I fling myself forward and hope that rainbow is tangible enough to keep me from falling!

I bring these thoughts up because I am facing a bright future. I am moving to a senior level software development position at a new company! I'll be working with a very small team of 3 (score!), I will be working on internet based Windows apps instead of web applications (score!), I will be working with the latest development technologies such as LINQ, VS 2005/2008 (score!), I will be designing and leading my own projects (BIG SCORE!), I will get time to do my own research into new technologies (score!), and finally, I WON'T HAVE TO DRESS IN BUSINESS CAUSAL ANYMORE (SCORE!!!!)!
