Too Many Projects

I have so many things I want to do. How do people like Bill Gates do it? I have a billion projects that I'd love to complete or even come close to finishing. Why is it that I can't just stick to one and be done with it? Being in the software business complicates things too. Its definitely not the same as oil painting. With oil painting you can walk away from a piece you are working on, come back in a year, and your original work is still valid. Not so with software. If you leave a software project and come back to it in a year, you'll find that it became obsolete 10 months ago.

I bet a lot of people are in the same boat as I am. I'd get excited about forming a club or group with these people, but fear that it will just become another project on the shelf waiting to be completed. That's probably why there isn't a club out there yet!

Don't get me wrong, I am optimistic. I know that someday in the future I will unveil the completed 'whatzamajigger' or 'whomabadingle'. However, today is definitely not that day.
